Prior to founding Stables Partners, Grayson led the acquisition and turnaround of Birdwell Beach Britches. Birdwell was a third generation family-owned apparel manufacturer and historic surf brand based in Santa Ana, CA. As CEO Grayson led the shift to an e-commerce model while preserving the Made-in-USA quality that makes Birdwell special.
Before Birdwell, Grayson worked in sales and sales operations at Sunrun, the largest dedicated residential solar company in the US. Previous to Sunrun, Grayson worked in sales at SolarCity and as an investment associate at Horsley Bridge, a venture capital and private equity fund-of-funds. Grayson began his career at Guidant Corporation where he designed drug-eluding cardiac stents. He also founded CrazyRaise, an online fundraising website for youth sports teams. CrazyRaise was recently acquired by Stack Sports.
Grayson holds an MBA from Stanford University, a MS in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University.

Prior to founding Stables Partners, Luke was a Partner at Greenstone Partners, a long-only public investment firm. As a Partner, Luke was responsible for sourcing, researching, and monitoring investments on behalf of the partnership.
Prior to Greenstone, Luke was an Associate at Blum Capital Partners, where he worked as part of a team executing both public and private equity investments. Luke began his career in the Leveraged Finance / Financial Sponsors Group at Credit Suisse First Boston where he worked on debt and equity financings, as well as leveraged buyouts for private equity sponsors.
Luke holds an MBA from Stanford University, and a BS in economics from Cornell University.
